FairnessDoctrineMD.com is for those of us who BELIEVE that FREE SPEECH is our RIGHT, not merely a privilege handed out by Washington … or Annapolis.
We need to send a message to Congress and the Maryland legislature that there is NOTHING fair about the “Fairness Doctrine”. Re-implementing it, either through Congress, or by the FCC takes away our right to hear all points of view and limits us to those views deemed “fair” by some elite group in Washington, DC.
That is why Maryland Senators Andy Harris and Alex Mooney introduced SJ11 in opposition to the “Fairness Doctrine”.
“Conservative” media has an audience because it promotes ideas that the vast majority of Americans support; ideas like limited government, fiscal responsibility, personal responsibility, and lower taxes. Despite the best attempts by the liberal elite, these principles have found buyers in the marketplace of ideas.
